- Abstract
This map aligns with Map 6 of the BC Old Growth Technical Advisory Panel's Old Growth Maps (OGM) clipped to northwestern BC.
This category captures part of the “resilient forest” category of the OGSR. Intact watersheds are free, or largely free, from anthropogenic modification of forest composition, structure, and function. The Panel mapped relatively intact watersheds (70%, 80%, 90% intact) based on the amount of logging and roads in each freshwater assessment watershed. Intact Watersheds are not included in the Priority Deferral Area (Map 1) but were provided to assist planning.
Further details on the methodology and links to full datasets may be found at the Skeena Salmon Data Centre.
