Abstract

This layer shows big-treed younger forests (age 80 and older) in northwestern BC that could “recruit” into large-structured old forest in the shortest timeframes where remaining old and older mature forest fail to meet minimum targets. This layer was produced by the Old Growth Technical Advisory Panel and further details on the methodology and links to full datasets may be found on the Skeena Salmon Data Centre.
