- Abstract
This Stream Crossing Risk layer for Babine River is part of the Wild Salmon Policy (WSP) habitat indicator assessment conducted in 2022. The reports resulting from this assessment are stored in the SSDC (https://data.skeenasalmon.info/dataset/babine-wild-salmon-policy-analysis-2022-river) and are intended as a coarse filter approach to identify watersheds that are potentially at risk of exceeding thresholds for the four WSP habitat indicators (Road Density, Stream Crossing Density, Total Land Cover Alteration, and Riparian Disturbance). The present layer depicts the assessment results for Babine River - Stream Crossing based on the Freshwater Atlas (FWA) Assessment Watersheds. This work was commissioned by SkeenaWild Conservation Trust, with the support of Eclipse Geomatics Ltd.
